We are delighted to announce that we have commenced a project to have an electronic version of our historic Books of Remembrance, meaning that all entries dating back to 1957 can be viewed online whenever and wherever you are.

Once completed there will be two search options – Date & Name.

Use the Date option if you know the exact page that you wish to view.

Use the Name option if you’ve forgotten the date or are searching for another friend or relative. This option will take several months to set up as a database needs to be created for every single name in the Books of Remembrance.

Once the chosen page has loaded, there is a facility to zoom in and scroll around the page to view your loved ones entry.

The original Books of Remembrance will continue to be inscribed by our highly skilled calligraphers and will remain on display in the cabinet throughout the year.
