On Thursday 30th July, at 6.00pm we are pleased to be hosting a book launch for author Robert Ashton in partnership with Red Lion Books.

For Robert personally it will be a poignant event as all his grandparents and several great grandparents were either buried or cremated here at Colchester Cemetery & Crematorium. Indeed this location features in the last chapter.

We’ll hear about his interview with a Suffolk gravedigger and another about the possible introduction of Water Cremation into the UK.
