As part of recently becoming members of the FBCA (Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities) the crematorium has been inspected to ensure compliance with a range of measures across 6 keys areas; Administration, Ceremony Facilities, Cremation Facilities, Premises, Grounds and Memorialisation, Service and Staff.

I am pleased to report that Colchester Crematorium achieved 100% in 5 of the 6 key areas and an overall compliance score of 95.7%.

This is excellent and demonstrates the high standards of service, care and professionalism provided by Bereavement Services.
